He attended Spring Village Basic School, Spring Garden All-Age School and Horizon Park All-Age School in St. Catherine and the Vere Technical High School in Clarendon. In January 1995 he enrolled in the Department of Business Administration at West Indies College, now Northern Caribbean University. Fitzroy Bailey was employed as the first Ministerial Intern of North Jamaica Mission, now North Jamaica Conference, in August 1, 2002. He cherishes the presence of the Holy Spirit, which has brought a charismatic flavor to his preaching. He served as pastor to the Spring Garden district in Trelawny where he was centurion for two consecutive years. He served as Pastor for the Claremont District of Churches where he was instrumental in leading more than two hundred and six (206) precious souls to Jesus. He has also served as pastor of the Bamboo District of Churches. Currently he serves as pastor of the Brown’s Town District of Churches.
At the First Session of North Jamaica Conference held January 9 and 10, 2010 he was elected to serve as the Conference’s first Youth Ministries Director.
Pastor Bailey is a sociable and down-to-earth person who loves people and who will stand up for those who are treated unfairly. He has a passion for good music and enjoys singing, hiking, cycling and reading mostly Seventh-day Adventist literature. He believes that all human beings are special and should be treated fairly.
Pastor Bailey is happily married and is strongly supported by his wife, best friend and partner in ministry, Tashana Stobbs who is a teacher by profession. She graduated from Northern Caribbean University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Primary Education and currently works at the Jeffrey Ville All Age School. They are the proud parents of twin boys, Royese and Taroye, who were born in January 2011.
Pastor and Sister Bailey are a dedicated team willing to be used by the Lord.
